Register to vote in Lebanon

An important reminder for all holders of the Lebanese Citizenship who are currently permanently residing in Australia. If you would like to register to vote in the upcoming Lebanese Elections, please ensure that you do so before the cut out date being the 20th of November 2017. Less than 10 days to go!
 
Every Lebanese citizen aged 21 years or over is eligible to vote in the Lebanese elections. A person cannot vote unless they are included in the voter register. Thus, all persons holding Lebanese citizenship should be registered as a voter. This right applies regardless of whether they are residing in Lebanon or not.
 
The registration is very simple and can be fully completed online via the official link below:

Documents you may need include the following:

1. A photo of your Lebanese Identification (new or old both sides) or any form of ID such as your Individual/Family Status Record.
   
2. A photo of your Australian Identification such as your Australian Passport, Australian Citizenship, or Australian birth certificate or any other legal document proving that you reside in Australia (eg. Permanent or Working Visa).
   
3. A photo of your Australian driver’s license
