The Taouk Association was first formed in Australia by members of the Taouk family at the onset of the Lebanese Civil War in 1976.
Initially started as a charity to assist members of the Taouk family during the war.
In the early 90s the Taouk Association became officially recognized as a community association in Australia.
Since its conception the Taouk Association has become the face of the Taouk Family in Australia, representing and bringing together the Taouk family with charity work, social events, and constant contact and communication with the Taouk community in Lebanon.
