Taouk Family Picnic 2024

28/11/2024

Picture
Despite the recent losses in our family, we have decided to proceed with the Taouk Family Picnic. This decision is guided by the selfless and noble wishes of the immediate families of the departed.

To pay our respects, we will begin the day with a private Maronite Mass:
Location: St Francis Xavier’s Church, 4 Forest Rd, Arncliffe
Time: 10:30 AM
Date: Sunday, 8th December 2024

After the Mass, everyone is invited to the Taouk Family Picnic:
Location: Gough Whitlam Park, Earlwood

This will be a day for togetherness, where we can share a meal and enjoy activities for the children. However, out of respect for the current circumstances, we have decided to refrain from playing music during the event.

We look forward to seeing everyone there in good health, as we honour our loved ones and cherish the bonds that unite us.

Dear family members,

We’re excited to announce that this year’s family picnic will be held at Gough
Whitlam Park, Earlwood
, on Sunday, 8th December 2024.

This year, we reunite with open hearts, celebrating our cherished family bond and joining in prayer with our loved ones who have gone before us. In respect to the families of our beloved deceased members, who insisted on keeping the picnic and allow our children to celebrate Christmas, despite the pain and sorrow we are all feeling.

The day will begin with a private mass at 10:30 am at Saint Francis Church, 4 Forest Road, Arncliffe. This service will be conducted in Arabic and English by Maronite priests. Please feel free to dress comfortably for the park afterward, as this mass is private for our family.

After mass, we’ll head to the park to enjoy a wonderful day together. The children can look forward to exciting activities, including rides, face painting, sports, gift bags, and a special visit from Santa!

Please bring your families to celebrate this special day. We look forward to
seeing everyone in good health.
