Dear family members We would like to extend a warm invitation to you to join us on the Annual Memorial Mass for the deceased members of the Taouk family which will be held on Sunday the 12th of February 2023 at 10:00 AM at Saint Maroun's Cathedral (627 Elizabeth St, Redfern NSW 2016). This mass is an opportunity for us to come together as a community to remember and honor our loved ones who have passed away. We hope that you can make it to this special event and share in this time of remembrance, reflection and celebration of their lives. St. Maroun’s Maronite Catholic Church first opened in Elizabeth Street Redfern in January 1897. This was replaced by the larger Cathedral 1964.
The first Taouk family memorial mass was held in St Maroun's Cathedral and this tradition has continued to this day. With regret, we inform you that Melhem Gabriel Salha Taouk has passed away in Lebanon, aged 67. In Lebanon, he is the husband of Sadie Maaouad Taouk and the father of Mansour, Gaby the husband of Eliane Taouk, Michelle, Darine and Dima the wife of Elie El-Zain Taouk. He is the brother of the late Youssef and Feyez Gibrael Salha Taouk. Antonious Gibrael Salha Taouk. And his sisters Marie, the wife of the late Tansa Eid and Salha Gibrael Taouk. In Australia, he is the Father of Dina Melhem Taouk, the wife of Najib James Hajie Taouk and the brother of Souraya Gabriel Taouk, the wife of the late Najib Hajie Taouk and Jamal Gabriel Taouk, the wife of Antonios Giryes Basbous Taouk. He is also the uncle of Melek Salha Taouk and the first cousin of Antonios and Fahed Hanna Taouk and the brother-in-law of Jamil and Mansour Maaouad Taouk. The memorial mass will be held at 5:30 pm on Sunday the 22nd of January 2023 at Our Lady Of Lourdes, Earlwood.
