Taouk Association General Meeting

We would like to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous 2020, full of hope and blessings. May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to be the utmost source of mercy and hope in our families.

On behalf of the Taouk Association, we would like to thank you for your continued support, cooperation and trust in our current committee. We hope that we have served you well throughout
our term.

It is with great anticipation, that we call all family members to participate in our general meeting. The meeting will be held on Sunday, 9th of February 2020 at the Bsharri Hall located at 14 Coronation Parade, Enfield NSW 2136 Belfield at 4:00 pm.

  1. Voting on the new draft constitution (attached for your perusal);
  2. Evaluating the current logistics of mercy meals and funeral arrangements;
  3. Reviewing the family property development track;

Secretary’s contact details:

Suhale Taouk: 0414 663 086

We urge all family members to attend this meeting as the decisions made will impact many years to come. We specifically encourage all women married outside of the family to be present as we greatly value their input on all matters scheduled for discussion.

Your attendance is highly appreciated as we plan to vote on and adopt the new constitution. Adopting the new constitution falls under special resolutions, which requires at least 150 members to attend in order to constitute a quorum.

In addition to the above, we would also like to re-evaluate the mercy meal, funeral arrangements, and our annual picnic logistics. As these are very sensitive subjects, it is important that we have as much feedback and participation from as many members as possible.

Finally, in relation to electing the new committee members, we encourage any person who has the knowledge, vision, commitment and time to help, to email their nomination to any of the positions listed below:
