Hassibi Hanna Khadra has passed away in Lebanon

With regret, we inform you that Hassibi Hanna Khadra the widow of Nassim Sarkis Khadra has passed away in Lebanon aged 72.

In Australia, Hassibi is the sister of Wahib Hanna Khadra and the cousin of Tony and Saada Khadra.

The memorial mass will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday the 16th of November at Saint Joseph’s Maronite Church - Croydon.

The family will be receiving condolences at the church after the mass due to covid restrictions.

In Australia, Susie is the daughter of Elias Loulou Taouk and the sister of Moosa and Hani Taouk.

The memorial mass will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday the 11th of November at Saint Charbel's Maronite Church - Punchbowl.

Register to vote for the Lebanese Parliamentary Elections 2022

Dear family members,

We invite you to register to vote in the upcoming Lebanese elections which are due to be held in March 2022.

Registration for non-resident Lebanese citizens (born before 30 March 2001) to vote in the 2022 parliamentary elections are open until 12pm on 20 November 2021 (Beirut time). You can register through the following methods:

Electronic registration on https://diasporavote.mfa.gov.lb or by visiting the Lebanese Ministry's official website www.mfa.gov.lb and then clicking on the registration page.
Register by attending the offices of the Lebanese Embassy or Consulate.

You will need to have a Lebanese ID card or a current Lebanese Passport to register. You will also need to have an Australian Driver's Licence or current Australian Passport which you need to scan and upload onto the portal

We encourage our family members to do their duty and register. This is a chance for us the Lebanese diaspora to participate in the decision making of our beloved country.
We therefore strongly urge you to register and make your voice heard.
