David Youssef Gebrael Taouk has passed away in Australia

With regret, we inform you that David Youssef Gebrael Taouk has sadly passed away in Sydney, Australia, aged 68.

In Australia, he is the husband of Fadia Kashlah Gebrael Taouk. He is the father of Wajih, Adelle, Sharon and Amanda the wife of Ivan Esho-Chamann.

He is the brother of Wajih, Gebrael, Samira the widow of the late Michael Hanna Remeihy Taouk and Mariam the widow of the late Melhem Eid Gebrael Taouk.

The family will be receiving condolences from 6:00pm to 9:00pm Friday 28th and Saturday 29th July 2023 at St Charbel Church hall (142 Highclere Avenue, Punchbowl NSW 2196).

The Funeral service will be held on Monday the 31st of July at 11:00am at St Charbel's Church Punchbowl.
 
A mercy meal will be served at Saint Charbel's Church Hall directly after the Funeral Service.

The 40-Day mass for the late Louisa Gibrael Eid Taouk will be held on Sunday the 30th of July 2023 at 4pm at St Charbel's Church Punchbowl.

In Australia, she is the daughter of Gibrael Eid Gibrael Taouk and Hala Eid Hanna Taouk, she is the sister of Lahoud, Youssef, Melhem & Monalisa.
She is the granddaughter of Eid Hanna Taouk and the late Salam Taouk. She is the niece of the late Melhem Eid Gibrael Taouk, Dib Eid Gibrael Taouk, & Mansoura Eid Gibrael Taouk the wife of Wajih Youssef Gibrael Taouk. She is also the niece of Maroun and Mark Eid Taouk, Myrna Eid Taouk the widow of the Late Peter Alphonse, Madeline Eid Taouk the wife of Charbel El Khoury, Helen Eid Taouk the wife of Charbel Ghostine Taouk.

Mansoura Hanna Taouk has passed away in Lebanon

With regret, we inform you that Mansoura Hanna Taouk the widow of the late Habib Yaacoub Taouk has passed away in Lebanon aged 90.

In Australia, she is  the sister of  Badwi Hanna Taouk, the late Salim Hanna Taouk and Eid Hanna Taouk. She is also the grandmother of Elie Yaacoub Habib Taouk.

The Memorial service will be held on Tuesday the 25th of July 2023 at 6:00 pm at Saint Joseph Maronite Church - Croydon.

Her family will be receiving condolences after the memorial mass.

Leila Michael Michael has passed away in Lebanon

With regret, we inform you that Leila Michael Michael the wife of the late Michael Habib Moussa Taouk and the mother of the late Farid Michael Moussa Taouk has passed away in Lebanon aged 78,
 
In Australia she is the sister of Sayed Michael Michael, Saada the wife of Habib Zina Rahme and Karime the wife of George Tise. She is also the relative of Mansour Michael Moussa Taouk, Adel Hanna Moussa Taouk and Sami Moussa Taouk.

The Memorial service will be held on Saturday 22nd of July 2023 at 4:00 pm at Saint Raymond’s Church - Auburn.

Her family will be receiving condolences after the memorial mass.

With heavy and painful hearts, and with a greeting to the souls of the two martyrs, Haitham and Malek Taouk, we stand in solidarity with our families in Bsharri who are experiencing the sting of pain through their tragedy. Consequently, the Bsharri Association of NSW invites you to take part in a memorial Mass which will be held at 2.00pm on Sunday 9 July at Our Lady of Lebanon Co-Cathedral, Harris Park (40/46 Alice Street Harris Park), for the souls of the two fallen men.
This is a general invitation.

Incident in Qornet Al-Sawda, Lebanon: Condolences at Bsharri hall

Further to our message yesterday, we would like to inform you that the Bsharri community in Sydney still stands in solidarity with our people in Bsharri, Lebanon, following the sad and tragic events at Qornet Al-Sawda. Consequently, condolences will take place for Haitham Taouk and Malek Taouk at the Bsharri hall, Enfield, tonight (Monday 3 July) and tomorrow night (Tuesday 4 July) from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.

Dear family members,

Yesterday, a serious incident took place at Qornet Al-Sawda in Lebanon. Two men from Bsharrie were killed in the incident: Haitham Taouk and Malek Taouk. The Bsharrie Association of NSW and the Bsharrie community in Australia takes this incident very seriously and expresses its pain and solidarity with the people of Bsharri and the region in Lebanon. The Bsharri Association condemns this cowardly act and calls on the authorities to apprehend those who are responsible for the murders as soon as possible. 


In these tragic times, the Bsharri community in Sydney will gather in solidarity at the Bsharri hall at Enfield from 2.00pm today, Sunday 2 July.
